Speed Testing

Speed Testing

Speed kills as they say. In team sports it can make a huge difference when it comes to performance; the difference between beating a defender and scoring or not scoring. Matt focuses on developing speed with athletes of all levels, by having a reliable test regularly you know you are making progress.

Complete Athlete Profile

Complete Athlete Profile

Speed, strength, power, aerobic & anaerobic endurance; we’ll analyse multiple areas of your athletic performance to fully understand your fitness level and how best to direct your training. This testing battery is specific to your sport and/or performance goals, for example rugby players carry out a different set of tests to racing car drivers and cyclists.

Team Fitness Testing

Team Fitness Testing

Evaluate and compare your players’ fitness levels with a sport-specific set of tests. We’ll provide a full team report based on individual player performances in each test. Ideal for football, hockey, rugby, basketball teams etc. looking to maximise their physical preparation whilst creating a fun and competitive environment for your athletes.

VO2 Max – Coming Soon

VO2 Max – Coming Soon

VO2 Max refers to the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can utilise during intense exercise. This measurement is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness/aerobic endurance.  We are looking to add this test to our performances services in the coming months.  Please get in touch if you are interested in testing your VO2 Max on either our Watt Bike or Concept 2 rowing machine and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.

Lactate Threshold

Lactate Threshold

Your lactate threshold is the level at which the intensity of exercise causes lactate to accumulate in the blood at a faster rate than it can be removed. This provides really important information when prescribing training programs as it sets the border between low- and high-intensity work. We can test this on a Watt Bike or Concept 2 rowing machine.
